Coral Reef Ecosystem Monitoring Report of the Mariana Archipelago: 2003-2007

Monitoring report cover

During a series of Pacific Reef Assessment and Monitoring Program (Pacific RAMP) expeditions to Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) in 2003, 2005, and 2007, scientists working for the PIFSC Coral Reef Ecosystem Division and partner organizations collected extensive information on coral reef biological communities and habitats and the oceanographic and water-quality parameters influencing them. In this comprehensive report, CRED presents results from these studies throughout the Mariana Archipelago.

A summary of this report was presented as a 38-page booklet, titled Coral Reef Ecosystems of the Mariana Archipelago: a 2003-2007 Overview (18.1 MB PDF), to resource management agencies and key stakeholders at the 24th meeting of the U.S. Coral Reef Task Force held in Saipan, CNMI, in September 2010. This overview became the "Executive Summary" chapter of the full report provided here.

Any of the 19 individual chapters of this report—as well as the cover, front matter, references, and appendices—may be downloaded below as a PDF file.
