    The 4th Annual Hawaii Ocean Expo proved to be very busy with the BCH volunteers distributing almost 1000 packs of outreach materials and more than 1000 free samples of barbless circle hooks. The highlight of the Expo was the 4th Annual GT Masters Cup fishing tournament which serves to showcase the popular long-time local shoreline fishing activity. More...

    The West Marine Grand Opening provided the project a chance to outreach to fishermen and boaters at their non-profit charity event "Cruising for a Cause". The BCH project partnered with West Marine staff to place 500 BCH brochures in the informational packet given out to all attendees. At the evening event the project partnered with the non-profit Pacific Islands Fisheries Group for outreach in West Marine's fishing department. More...
