Monitoring Status Reports

Monitoring status reports provide a periodic review of the coral reef monitoring surveys and research conducted by CRED each year in the U.S.-affiliated Pacific Islands region. These annual research surveys are part of the Pacific Reef Assessment and Monitoring Program (Pacific RAMP), a long-term monitoring program that began in 2000. Pacific RAMP, which is supported by NOAA's Coral Reef Conservation Program (CRCP), is tasked with documenting and understanding the status and trends of coral reef ecosystems in the Hawaiian and Mariana Archipelagos, American Samoa, and the Pacific Remote Island Areas.
