Services For Readers

Document Delivery
Get copies of journal articles, conference proceedings, technical reports, and more without leaving your desk. Requests are usually filled the same or next business day and will arrive as a PDF in your email. Incomplete citations and longer documents take longer to process.
Inter-Library Loan (ILL)
The PIFSC Library is part of a world-wide lending network of thousands of libraries, so if you don't see the title in our collection, we can likely borrow a copy via ILL. Requests are fulfilled by other libraries so processing time will vary.
Purchasing Requests
Book purchase and journal subscription recommendations from PIFSC staff are welcome (and encouraged). Suggested titles that fall within the scope of the library's collection and are of high scholarly value will be added to the collection if the budget allows.

Services For Writers

Citation Search and Verification
A time-consuming but necessary part of preparing a manuscript for publication is verifying and formatting cited works. We can research your citations for accuracy and format them for you to expedite your manuscript through the editorial process.
Author ID Registration
Author IDs are used on a variety of platforms to distinguish writers from other authors that have similar names. They are essential for ensuring that your research and publications are credited to the "real" you. We can assist you with registering for a variety of author IDs, including ORCID, ResearcherID, and on Google Scholar.
Bibliometric Report and Citation Analysis
Need to show the impact of your research? Evaluating a potential hire? Request a bibiliometric report, which includes the author's h-index or index(es) of your choice, basic metrics, citation analysis, and more.
